Son r\u00f4le principal se d\u00e9cline en trois dimensions : la r\u00e9tention d'eau, l'ouvrabilit\u00e9 et la r\u00e9sistance aux fissures. Sans l'ajout d'\u00e9ther de cellulose, le mortier est sujet \u00e0 une perte d'eau rapide pendant la construction, ce qui entra\u00eene des probl\u00e8mes tels que \"durcissement trop rapide et difficult\u00e9 \u00e0 \u00e9taler uniform\u00e9ment\" et \"mauvaise adh\u00e9rence \u00e0 la couche de base, ce qui entra\u00eene des creux et des effondrements\". Am\u00e9lioration de la maniabilit\u00e9 : Facilite l'application du mortier et pr\u00e9vient l'affaissement.<\/h4>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-8737682 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"8737682\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-settings=\"{&quot;ekit_we_effect_on&quot;:&quot;none&quot;}\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Les groupes hydroxyles de la cha\u00eene mol\u00e9culaire de l'\u00e9ther de cellulose forment des liaisons hydrog\u00e8ne avec les mol\u00e9cules d'eau, \u00e9liminant ainsi l'humidit\u00e9 du mortier. \"L'humidit\u00e9 est retenue, ce qui ralentit sa p\u00e9n\u00e9tration dans le substrat (comme les murs en b\u00e9ton et en briques).<\/p><p>Valeur pratique : Le temps d'ouverture du mortier de gypse ordinaire pendant la construction n'est que d'environ 30 minutes. <a href=\"https:\/\/tenessy.com\/products\/hpmc-hydroxypropyl-methyl-cellulose\/\">Ajout de cellulose<\/a> L'\u00e9ther \u00e9thylique peut porter cette dur\u00e9e \u00e0 60-90 minutes, ce qui r\u00e9pond aux exigences de temps pour le \"m\u00e9lange, le transport et l'application\" lors de la pose d'un enduit sur de grandes surfaces. L'\u00e9talement cr\u00e9e une r\u00e9sistance minimale, ce qui r\u00e9duit l'effort de l'ouvrier.<\/p><p>Lors d'une application verticale (comme l'enduit mural), le mortier ne glisse pas ou ne s'affaisse pas sous son propre poids, ce qui permet de maintenir une \u00e9paisseur d'enduit constante (particuli\u00e8rement adapt\u00e9e aux couches \u00e9paisses de 20 \u00e0 30 mm), r\u00e9duisant ainsi les efforts de nivellement ult\u00e9rieurs.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-d7a7a93 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"d7a7a93\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-settings=\"{&quot;ekit_we_effect_on&quot;:&quot;none&quot;}\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h4 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">4. Les \u00e9thers de cellulose att\u00e9nuent ce probl\u00e8me de deux mani\u00e8res :<\/p><p>D'une part, <a href=\"https:\/\/tenessy.com\/applications\/gypsum-based-plaster\/\">leur effet de r\u00e9tention d'eau permet \u00e0 l'humidit\u00e9 du mortier de s'\u00e9vaporer lentement<\/a>L'utilisation d'un syst\u00e8me d'\u00e9tanch\u00e9it\u00e9 \u00e0 l'eau permet d'\u00e9viter un r\u00e9tr\u00e9cissement in\u00e9gal caus\u00e9 par une perte d'eau rapide.<\/p><p>D'autre part, les cha\u00eenes mol\u00e9culaires des \u00e9thers de cellulose forment un \"r\u00e9seau flexible\" \u00e0 l'int\u00e9rieur du mortier, r\u00e9partissant les contraintes de retrait et r\u00e9duisant la probabilit\u00e9 de fissuration. Ils sont particuli\u00e8rement adapt\u00e9s aux enduits en milieu sec ou aux murs de grande port\u00e9e.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-b1fc49f elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"b1fc49f\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-settings=\"{&quot;ekit_we_effect_on&quot;:&quot;none&quot;}\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">II. Des ajustements aveugles peuvent facilement conduire \u00e0 des \u00e9carts de performance.<\/p><p>S\u00e9lection du type :<a href=\"https:\/\/tenessy.com\/products\/hpmc-hydroxypropyl-methyl-cellulose\/\"> Hydroxypropylm\u00e9thylcellulose (HPMC)<\/a> est pr\u00e9f\u00e9rable.<\/p><p>Le HPMC est l'\u00e9ther de cellulose le plus couramment utilis\u00e9 dans les mortiers de pl\u00e2tre, car il allie<a href=\"https:\/\/tenessy.com\/products\/hemc-hydroxyethyl-methyl-cellulose\/\"> une forte r\u00e9tention d'eau<\/a> avec des propri\u00e9t\u00e9s \u00e9paississantes mod\u00e9r\u00e9es. Il pr\u00e9sente \u00e9galement une bonne compatibilit\u00e9 avec le gypse et n'affecte pas la vitesse de prise et de durcissement du gypse (certains autres types d'\u00e9thers de cellulose peuvent ralentir la prise).<\/p><p>Lignes directrices : Choisir un HPMC dont la viscosit\u00e9 est comprise entre 50 000 et 200 000 mPa-s (une faible viscosit\u00e9 entra\u00eene une r\u00e9tention d'eau insuffisante, tandis qu'une viscosit\u00e9 \u00e9lev\u00e9e peut conduire \u00e0 un mortier trop \u00e9pais et \u00e0 un mauvais \u00e9tat de surface).<\/p><p>Dosage suppl\u00e9mentaire : 0,15%-0,3% est la fourchette optimale.<\/p><p>Minimum : En dessous de 0,15%, la r\u00e9tention d'eau est insuffisante, le mat\u00e9riau est susceptible de se creuser et la r\u00e9sistance du mortier est faible.<\/p><p>Maximum : Au-dessus de 0,3%, le mortier sera excessivement \u00e9pais et produira facilement des bulles pendant le m\u00e9lange. Ces bulles \u00e9clateront et formeront de petits pores apr\u00e8s le durcissement, ce qui affectera le lissage et la r\u00e9sistance de la surface. Des quantit\u00e9s excessives d'\u00e9ther de cellulose peuvent \u00e9galement donner au mortier un aspect poudreux apr\u00e8s le s\u00e9chage.<\/p><p>Ajustements pour des sc\u00e9narios particuliers : Si la couche de base est tr\u00e8s absorbante (comme les murs en briques poreuses), le dosage peut \u00eatre augment\u00e9 \u00e0 0,3%-0,4% pour am\u00e9liorer la r\u00e9tention d'eau.
