Ce r\u00e9seau augmente consid\u00e9rablement la limite d\u2019\u00e9coulement de la p\u00e2te : lorsque la colle \u00e0 carrelage est appliqu\u00e9e sur des murs verticaux, la rigidit\u00e9 structurelle interne r\u00e9siste \u00e0 la force de gravit\u00e9 qui provoque l\u2019affaissement. \u00c0 mesure que la taille des carreaux ne cesse d\u2019augmenter, les exigences en mati\u00e8re de r\u00e9sistance au glissement sont devenues plus strictes, et les propri\u00e9t\u00e9s \u00e9paississantes et thixotropiques apport\u00e9es par l\u2019HPMC sont essentielles pour relever ce d\u00e9fi.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"ds-markdown-paragraph\"><strong><span class=\"\">En termes de dur\u00e9e d'ouverture<\/span><\/strong><span class=\"\">, les groupes hydroxyle et \u00e9ther pr\u00e9sents sur les cha\u00eenes mol\u00e9culaires de l'HPMC peuvent former des liaisons hydrog\u00e8ne avec les mol\u00e9cules d'eau, transformant ainsi l'eau libre en eau li\u00e9e et contr\u00f4lant efficacement la vitesse de migration de l'eau vers le support et l'atmosph\u00e8re. L'exp\u00e9rience du secteur permet de formuler les recommandations suivantes pour diff\u00e9rentes conditions de construction :<\/span><\/p><ul><li><p class=\"ds-markdown-paragraph\"><strong><span class=\"\">Pose de carrelage mural int\u00e9rieur<\/span><\/strong><span class=\"\">: Viscosit\u00e9 recommand\u00e9e : 40 000 \u00e0 60 000 mPa\u00b7s, pour un bon compromis entre r\u00e9sistance au glissement et facilit\u00e9 d'application.<\/span><\/p><\/li><li><p class=\"ds-markdown-paragraph\"><strong><span class=\"\">Murs ext\u00e9rieurs et carrelage grand format<\/span><\/strong><span class=\"\">: Viscosit\u00e9 recommand\u00e9e : 60 000 \u00e0 80 000 mPa\u00b7s \u2014 une viscosit\u00e9 plus \u00e9lev\u00e9e offre une meilleure r\u00e9sistance \u00e0 l'affaissement et une meilleure r\u00e9sistance portante.<\/span><\/p><\/li><li><p class=\"ds-markdown-paragraph\"><strong><span class=\"\">Temps d'ouverture prolong\u00e9 requis (niveau E)<\/span><\/strong><span class=\"\">: Il est pr\u00e9f\u00e9rable d'utiliser des produits de viscosit\u00e9 moyenne \u00e0 faible, comprise entre 10 000 et 30 000 mPa\u00b7s, en augmentant l\u00e9g\u00e8rement le dosage \u00e0 0,4%\u20130,6% afin de prolonger le temps ouvert.<\/span><\/p><\/li><\/ul><p class=\"ds-markdown-paragraph\"><span class=\"\">La fourchette posologique habituelle est de\u00a0<\/span><strong><span class=\"\">0,3%-0,5%<\/span><\/strong><span class=\"\">\u00a0du poids total de poudre s\u00e8che (soit 3 \u00e0 5 kg par tonne). Les diff\u00e9rents degr\u00e9s de substitution entra\u00eenent des temp\u00e9ratures de g\u00e9lification variables : les produits pr\u00e9sentant des taux de substitution plus \u00e9lev\u00e9s affichent des temp\u00e9ratures de g\u00e9lification plus \u00e9lev\u00e9es et une capacit\u00e9 de r\u00e9tention d'eau relativement stable dans des conditions de temp\u00e9rature \u00e9lev\u00e9e. Dans la pratique, une approche plus efficace consiste \u00e0 associer l'HPMC \u00e0\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/tenessy.com\/products\/hps-hydroxypropyl-starch-ether\/\"><strong><span class=\"\">\u00e9ther d'hydroxypropyle et d'amidon<\/span><\/strong><\/a><span class=\"\">.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"ds-markdown-paragraph\"><span class=\"\">La structure mol\u00e9culaire de l'\u00e9ther d'amidon est de type r\u00e9ticulaire et pr\u00e9sente une charge n\u00e9gative, ce qui lui permet d'adsorber les particules de ciment charg\u00e9es positivement et de conf\u00e9rer \u00e0 la p\u00e2te une limite d'\u00e9lasticit\u00e9 plus \u00e9lev\u00e9e \u2014<\/span><strong><span class=\"\">l'am\u00e9lioration de la r\u00e9sistance au glissement est nettement sup\u00e9rieure \u00e0 celle obtenue avec l'HPMC seul<\/span><\/strong><span class=\"\">. Les recherches indiquent qu'une augmentation appropri\u00e9e de la teneur totale en \u00e9ther de cellulose, associ\u00e9e \u00e0 une augmentation du taux de substitution de l'\u00e9ther d'amidon, permet d'am\u00e9liorer efficacement \u00e0 la fois le taux de r\u00e9tention d'eau et le temps ouvert du mortier, tout en renfor\u00e7ant consid\u00e9rablement la r\u00e9sistance au glissement.
