In de praktijk is het effectiever om HPMC te combineren met\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/tenessy.com\/products\/hps-hydroxypropyl-starch-ether\/\"><strong><span class=\"\">hydroxypropylzetmeelether<\/span><\/strong><\/a><span class=\"\">.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"ds-markdown-paragraph\"><span class=\"\">De moleculaire structuur van zetmeelether is netvormig en draagt een negatieve lading, waardoor het positief geladen cementdeeltjes kan adsorberen en de pasta een hogere vloeigrens kan geven\u2014<\/span><strong><span class=\"\">de verbetering van de slipweerstand is aanzienlijk groter dan bij gebruik van HPMC alleen<\/span><\/strong><span class=\"\">. Uit onderzoek blijkt dat een gepaste verhoging van het totale gehalte aan cellulose-ether, in combinatie met een verhoging van de substitutiegraad van zetmeel-ether, zowel het waterretentievermogen als de verwerkingstijd van de mortel effectief kan verbeteren, terwijl tegelijkertijd de slipweerstand aanzienlijk wordt versterkt. Er moet speciale aandacht worden besteed aan\u00a0<\/span><strong><span class=\"\">seizoensgebonden factoren<\/span><\/strong><span class=\"\">\u00a0die van invloed zijn op de prestaties van HPMC \u2014 door in de zomer proactief de productkwaliteit aan te passen en in de winter aandacht te besteden aan de uithardingssnelheid.
